MICO2praire - Biostimolante microbico per le praterie montane e valorizzazione del Servizio Ecosistemico
Applicant: CCS Aosta S.r.l.
Aims and objectives of the project: The project aims to develop a new microbial bio stimulant for mountain grasslands, to increase productivity and storage of CO2 in soil microaggregates by microbial (carbon cycle). An extraction process of soil microaggregates and the enhancement of this functional tract in the derived Ecosystem Service will be developed
Expected Results: A commercial product for grassland mowing, prototyping the process of isolating soil microaggregates, CO2 storage and ecosystem service quantification protocol.
PROGETTO MEDIA - Museo Emozionale Digitale multimediale Avanzato
Applicants: The Media Project partnership consists of three entities: Core Informatica company based in Point Saint Martin; University of the Aosta Valley and the Politecnico of Turin. In addition to the mentioned proponents there is also the support and participation of the Museo dell’Artigianato della Valle d’Aosta
Aims and objectives of the project: The Media Project aims to create a multichannel web platform for cultural operators, capable of offering high-tech services and an App that acts as an advanced multimedia guide for cultural spaces.
Expected results:
- creation of a knowledge system adaptable to multiple cultural contexts;
- making the platform and the whole knowledge system suitable for an international environment.
- Provide to Partners, through research developed in the project, innovative skills on topics such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and the Internet of Things (IoT)
SecuRALL
Applicants: Engineering D.HUB S.p.A/ Fondazione Links/Telematica
Aims and objectives of the project: SecuRALL addresses the issue of critical infrastructure protection with a holistic approach, integrating physical security with cyber security, enabling a new concept of extended and intelligence-based Security Operation Center (EI-SOC).
Expected results: The ultimate goal is to define and create an open, extensible and adaptable framework to different real situations that considers and integrates all aspects of physical and cyber protection.
Montur
Applicant: Kria SRL
Aims and objectives of the project: The objective of the Montur project is to ensure a measurement of tourist flows in the Aosta Valley, using both systems such as cameras and sensors already present in the territory, both through machine learning and big data tools able to provide information on: flows, characteristics and habits of visitors ensuring the right to privacy
Expected results: Creation of a product able to meet the information needs of the entry and exit flows in the territory. The aim is to provide a quality and versatile tool, so as to meet the needs of knowledge for both private and public entities
NetWORK Vda
Applicant: Kotuko Srl
Aims and objectives of the project: The project aims to create a network aimed at meeting supply/demand services useful to the entire tourism sector of the Aosta Valley, starting from the development of an innovative technological platform dedicated to local operators.
Expected results: Offer to the tourism sector greater efficiency in the management of aspects related to the employment of qualified personnel with longer-term job prospects, avoiding the typical high turnover of the sector. The technology adopted for the project will create a place where demand and supply meet with the necessity to monitor the volumes and results of research and thus have a single tool for verification and information of the specific sector.
QROOM-plus – Ambiente di co-working olografico
Applicant: Quintetto S.r.l.
Aims and objectives of the project: The main objective of the project is to significantly extend the functionality of Qroom (patented service holographic telepresence station) in order to support telepresence communication sessions not only in one-to-one mode (operator-user) but to allow conferencing and co-working situations where all actors are represented as holograms.
Expected results: Creation of a two-way communication system in real time between several users connected simultaneously, through their representation and mutual holographic visualization and integration of interaction tools that allow active and concrete collaboration. The system is modular and allows flexibility in terms of subjects participating in the single session.
IC4smartcity
Applicant: STMicroelectronics
Aims and objectives of the project:
The project focuses on the realization of electronic components for a module that manages digital services related to urban or mountain areas, allowing the automatic connection of more modules to each other, to the cloud and to local infrastructures of smart city type.
Expected results:
- FW single carrier and multi-carrier implementation in OFDM to increase the compatibility of operation in communication infrastructures;
- Study and realization of an AC-DC converter, a DC-DC converter and a motor-driver;
- Implementation of a demonstrator containing the developed electronics.
